1. Sign up to receive emails according to your interests–
The first is a low-traffic moderated announcements list. Join this list to find out about the club’s schedule, special events, and more. To add yourself, email: email@example.com
The second is an unmoderated discussion list for our members to talk about anything and everything to do with sailing and the club. To add yourself, email: firstname.lastname@example.org
The third is an unmoderated list for the racing program – anything and everything to do with racing at the club. e.g. arrange crew/skipper pairings, rides to the club, figure out who’s setting the course, discuss rules, racing tips, etc. To add yourself, email: email@example.com
2. Sign up to sail with a friend. Would you like a sailing partner for a fun sail? Or perhaps you’d like to sail with an experienced member who can provide some tips? The club will match you up. Contact Meg Gower during Boat School, at the club or by email.
3. Help publicize the club! New brochures are available at the club for you to bring to work, share with your friends and community.
4. Get more involved in running the club!
Our governing board is elected every year in October. If you’d like to be on the board for next year, talk to a club officer for more information. Also, the Board has set up several committees which could use your help.
