REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible to make a purchase from this page, you (OR your legal dependent) MUST be registered as a student at the University of Michigan for the current term.
If you are a UM student, you may purchase any student option offered.
If your dependent is a UM student and you are not a UM student, you may purchase only a Student Family Membership for yourself. You may purchase any student option for the student’s use on their behalf.
You do NOT qualify for any student discounts if you fall into the following categories unless you (or your legal dependent) are ALSO registered as a UM student:
- a student enrolled at another university;
- a UofM Alum;
- a UofM Faculty or Staff Member;
- a UofM Research Fellow;
- a UofM Retiree.
If you fall into one or more of these categories and you (or your legal dependent) are NOT also a UM STUDENT, you MUST click here to make your purchase.
I CERTIFY THAT:
- I am (or my legal dependent is) registered as a “student” for the current term at the University of Michigan;
- I agree that the Uniqname I am providing is my own or belongs to my legal dependent;
- the Uniqname I am providing has the words “Student” associated with it, meaning:
- Either an undergraduate student;
- Masters student;
- or PHD student.
- Again: Alumni, Fellows, Retirees, and Faculty & Staff designations do not by themselves qualify for any student discounts.
- We WILL verify your (or your dependent’s) STUDENT status using your Uniqname.
