BASIC STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Be a current member of the club.
- Have signed the current season waiver.
- Bring a properly fitted PFD and wear it at all times past the shoreline during boat school hours.
- Get a head start! Review the list of tasks for this rating beforehand.
- No sign-up required! Just meet the basic requirements and show up on Saturday.
MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR INSTRUCTION:
- Boat School Hours: Boat School starts at 9:00 am and concludes promptly at 12:00 pm.
- Arrive Early : This allows you to chat with the instructors, discuss your sailing goals and sailing background. Attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Sign-Up Sheet Available: While not mandatory, signing up beforehand lets instructors anticipate student needs and tailor the session accordingly. You can find the sign-up sheet below.
- Optional: Lunch Afterwards: Bond with fellow sailors over a delicious lunch! Check lunch availability beforehand or sign up to provide lunch for the crew.
