Our Location on the Radar Image
When summer storms pop up, sometimes it’s helpful to try to predict if they will just pass by the club or be a direct hit.
You can easily find the Michigan Sailing Club’s location on these radar images by following I-94 westbound out of Detroit. Just past Ann Arbor in Washtenaw County, the highway bends to the northwest. If you draw an imaginary line extending from the highway to where it intersects the Washtenaw/Livingston County line, you will see a small skew in the line. (See example image below)
