New Dock!
Members of the security team successfully installed the new dock today! It looks beautiful and is awaiting your arrival. We expect it to last at least 30 years. The swim platform was also put in place and is ready for use. The swim ladder is installed! The water temperature has risen several degrees in the last few days and is rather refreshing in these humid temperatures. Finally, we have installed a new sink on the backside of the hose and shower to allow you to wash your hands while access to the clubhouse is limited.
Until June 19th, when we reopen, the grounds are open for family members to enjoy the lake in their own watercraft, with their own PDFs, and to swim. Club boats, sailboards, sailboats, and paddle-craft are not to be used at this time. Please be aware, the building is not open, so plan ahead for food preparation and restroom use.
If you’d like to keep your boat at the club this summer, please send a note to Dockmaster at MichiganSailingClub dot org and we’ll try to accommodate you. This is a special dispensation for our members during the COVID pandemic with no additional requirements.
