Registration

You are encouraged to register in advance to help us better prepare for the regatta: email Ovidiu Adam, Racing Chair, to do so.

Registrations will be accepted on the morning of the regatta until the start of the Skippers’ Meeting.

There is no fee for this regatta; it’s free!
We will collect an optional fee ($5/person) at the skippers meeting for lunch. Note that we do not have food or drink concessions, so this is the only option to purchase lunch on-site.
Feel free to bring your own food and drinks if you prefer.

Club members may reserve a boat in advance on a first-come, first-served basis. There may be a waiting list if all boats are reserved. Contact Ovidiu to reserve your boat, or use the sign-up sheet at the club.

Prizes

Individual trophies will be awarded to the top finishers. The names of the sailor(s) of top finishing club member(s) in good standing shall be engraved on the Spring Fling Trophy plaque in the boat house. To qualify as a club member in good standing all dues must be paid at the time of the regatta to MSC or the UM Sailing Team.

Club Rules

No alcohol is allowed on the grounds, and no pets.
Children must be supervised at all times.

Misc. Information

The regatta will be held at the club’s property on Baseline Lake, at 8010 Strawberry Lake Road in Dexter, Michigan. Strawberry Lake road is closed just east of the club due to a culvert failure (Map and info). If you are coming from the east, take Territorial road west and turn north on Huron River Drive which becomes Strawberry Lake Road.

Contact Ovidiu Adam, Racing Chair, with any questions.
