UPDATE: 6/4/2020

Dear Sailors,

I know many of you are anxious to get sailing as some restrictions lift across the state. Here’s an update:

A committee comprised of our Dockmaster, Ron Sell, along with members Kay Stremler, Sandy Hubar, and Jim Rennell have been charged to develop a Safe Start plan for the club. Donna Snyder and Cyril Grum are offering feedback from the law and medical perspectives. The MSC executive board will meet with this committee on Sunday to determine our plan for limited opening along with new procedures for club use. No definitive plans have yet been made.

We are currently open only for existing members to picnic, swim, or use their own boats and own personal gear while maintaining social distancing. The building is currently closed and all club-owned boats and equipment are off limits.

As we develop our Safe Start plan, the official announcement will come from me via this list (sailclub-announce@googlegroups.com).
It will also be posted on our club website and on our Facebook page.

Thanks for your patience while we develop these new procedures to keep members safe while enjoying the lake front property.
