Instructor FAQ’s

To lead a Learning Opportunity, Practice, or Testing see below for specific instructions.

Newer Members & Basic Rated Members
Love to teach? We want YOU! This is an open invitation to any knowledgeable club member who has a willingness to help others to help facilitate learning on Saturdays. Even if you are a new member and you have just only learned nomenclature or knot tying, you possess valuable information that can be passed onto others. Saturday Learning from 9a-12a is also a good time to foster club participation and bonding by meeting new members and making new friends. Saturdays are the “cornerstone” of our club. If you are interested in being an instructor, you can add yourself to our dedicated instructors email list: Subscribe here!

Saturday Lunch
After instructing ceases at noon, we usually gather as a group to enjoy a meal together. Bring $5 and stay and hang out with us. If you are willing to buy food for the lunch, the club will reimburse you for the cost of preparing food, buying food from a store, or ordering out. It’s up to you what you want to bring. We can suggest something if you are unfamiliar with the process. The person supplying lunch eats at no charge!
