Memorial Weekend schedule:

We have a fun-filled weekend schedule for May 23-24-25.

  • On Saturday the 23rd, Boat School will resume with Sailing 101 presented by Vice-Commodore Jane Tucker.
  • Sunday the 24th is the Dan Rice Regatta. This is the club championship raced in any club boat with club sails. The winner has their name placed on the permanent trophy on the wall in the club house.
  • Monday is Memorial Day and we’ll have a potluck at 1:00pm. Bring a dish to pass and bring a friend along to come sailing.

Last of all, we need to thank and congratulate our first graduating class of USSAILING Level 1 instructors.  It was a grueling 4 days of chalk talks, land drills, water drills, power boat and sailing check-outs and written tests.
