Weather: Wind and Thunderstorms

Our second winter meeting was presented by Steve Considine, Meterologist,  from the National Weather Service. Steve gave a great talk to help club members understand the wind & identify the different stages of thunderstorms. It was a very informative discussion and was well attended. Club members Diana Armistead and Andy Van Staveren will open your eyes to adventure. Two different perspectives on trailer sailing. Diana out of her 15 foot open camp-cruiser and Andy with his McGregor 26 pocket cruiser. How to plan, prepare, and enjoy an overnight outing on water away from Baseline Lake. There may be security at the door to prevent any of my “friends” from bringing old vegetables…..Andy
