US Sail Instructor Certification
Ten of our club members spent four 10+ hour days on May 14 thru 17 taking the US Sailing Level 1 Instructor course. It was four grueling days of chalk talks, land drills, water drills, power & sailing check-outs and written tests. While this process was started to satisfy the insurance company, we plan to incorporate much of what was learned into our regular boat school training. Many thanks to: Meg Gower, Jane Tucker, Fernando Leon, Diana Armistead, Klaus Wolter, Robert Parker, Charles Child, Jeanne Bisanz, Donna Snyder & Steve Adams.
