Night Owl Sailors

“The Saturday night super moon sail was such an enjoyable experience. The moon was fantastic and the brightness made it easy to see. There were only a few slow moving pontoon boats along with our two sailboats and a slight movement of air. We put the sails up along with a flashlight on the mast to illuminate the sail if needed. The Hobie Wave sailed to the middle of the lake and back on a whisper of wind; the Wayfarer stayed nearer to shore. There was little need to handle the sail controls, just mind the rudder a bit for those occasions when bit of air would propel the boats. We paddled when there was no air. The whole experience was very peaceful and it was great to be able to see the super moon while on the water.”
